Welcome guest readers Kary Wayson and John Okrent!

Kary Wayson is the author of two collections of poems—The Slip (Burnside Review, 2020) and American Husband (Ohio State University Press, 2009), and a chapbook, Dog & Me (LitRag Press, 2004). Her poems have appeared in Oxford Poetry, The Nation, Narrative, FIELD, Image, The Volta, The Best American Poetry, and Pushcart Prize anthologies. She lives in Port Orchard, WA.

John Okrent is a poet and a family doctor. His first book of poems, This Costly Season, was published in 2022 and adapted for the stage by The Poets' Theatre in 2025.
