Susan Rich is the author of six collections of poetry and co-editor/editor of three anthologies. Recent books include Birdbrains: A Lyrical Guide to Washington State Birds, Blue Atlas, and Gallery of Postcards and Maps: New and Selected Poems. Rich co-edited Demystifying the Manuscript: Creating a Book of Poems and The Strangest of Theatres: Poets Crossing Borders. Her other poetry collections include: Cloud Pharmacy, The Alchemist’s Kitchen, Cures Include Travel, and The Cartographer’s Tongue/Poems of the World. In addition, her literary prizes include: the Crab Creek Review Prize, PEN USA Award, and the Times Literary Supplement Award - London. Recent poems appear in the Harvard Review, New England Review, Ploughshares, and Poetry Northwest among other places. Katy E. Ellis grew up under evergreens, alders, and high-voltage powerlines in Renton, Washington. She is the author of three full-length poetry collections: Nature vs. Girl (Fernwood Press, 2026), Forty Bouts in the Wilderness (MoonPath Press), first runner-up for the 2024 Sally Albiso Poetry Award, and Home Water, Home Land (Tolsun Books), a novel-length prose poem. Her work has appeared in many literary journals and anthologies including Mid-American Review, Mom Egg Review, SWWIM, Pithead Chapel, Rise Up, MAYDAY Magazine, Burnside Review, and in the Canadian journals PRISM International, Grain, and Fiddlehead.
